Daniel Joseph Brooker

     Daniel Joseph Brooker, 64, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at his home. He was born on March 19, 1959 in Beverly, Ohio, son of Donald A. and Audrey E. Silvus Brooker. Dan graduated from Fort Frye High School in 1978 and had worked at Arco Gas, Kings Gulf Station, Beverly Feed and Equipment, Napa, Schilling Truss and most recently, Morgenstern Processing. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Beverly and enjoyed hunting, watching football and was a big Cleveland Browns fan. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing and working in his garden. Dan is survived by a son, Joseph Brooker of Beverly; a daughter, Hallie Gandor (Brice) of Beverly and a step daughter, Tori Emerick (Jonathan) of Rittman, Ohio; His mother, Audrey Brooker of Beverly; siblings, Cathy Crock (Gary) of Waterford, Martha Fliehman (Tom) of Waterford, Sam Brooker of Beverly, Mike Brooker (Lori) of Beverly and Elaine Fisher (Kurt) of Waterford; sister in law, Sharon Brooker of Beverly; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother Blaine Brooker and a brother in law, Mike Fisher.

     Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Beverly with Father Tim Kozak officiating. The burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 pm on Friday, November 3, 2023 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly where a Rosary service will be held at 7:30 pm.
