Dale H. Pugh

     Dale H. Pugh, 71, of Stockport, Ohio, died on Monday, May 15, 2023 at his home. He was born on May 10, 1952 in Marietta, son of Ray and Ruth Hughes Pugh. He was retired from the Washington County Highway Department after 30 years of service and most recently was employed at Ron Cain Trucking. Dale graduated from Waterford High School in 1970. He was a hardworking man, loved the outdoors, loved to hunt and had many adventures with his brother throughout the years. He is survived by two daughters, Bobbie Carpenter and husband Bradley of Stockport and Marsha Pugh of Stockport; a brother, Wayne Pugh of Stockport and a sister, Deloris Reitz of Elkhart, Indiana; the mother of his children, Virginia Pugh of Belpre; and several nieces and nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Dean Pugh.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with burial will be in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday at the funeral home and online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
