Christine Noella "Chrissy" King

     Christine Noella “Chrissy” King, 59, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at her home in Beverly.  She was born on December 23, 1964 in Marietta, Ohio, daughter of Paul E. King and Evelyn Ann Schumacher King. Chrissy had formerly attended Wasco Workshop and Ewing School in Marietta and currently was attending Its Your Choice Adult Day program in Beverly. She attended St. Bernard Church where she was very active and always put money in the basket every week. Chrissy always looked forward to the Church Social and she loved to play bingo and Uno. She also loved babies and was the # 1 best babysitter and always looked forward to Christmas and birthdays all year long. She is survived by five sisters, Carolyn Schwendeman and husband John of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mary Ann Mayhew of Providence Forge, Virginia, Yvonne Huck of Beverly, Kathryn Wesel and husband Joe of Pickerington, Ohio and Jaqueline Darden and husband Mike of Wesley Chapel, Florida; three brothers, Paul E. King Jr. and wife Barbara of Marble Falls, Texas, David King of Paden City, WV and Jim King and wife Mary of Sistersville, WV; a brother in-law, Tony LeMaster of Cincinnati, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Barbara LeMaster; a nephew, Matthew Aaron Schwendeman; and brother’s in-law, Terry Huck and Edward Mayhew.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Beverly with Father Timothy Kozak officiating. Burial will be in the St. Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call 2-7 pm on Friday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly where a Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 pm.
