Carolyn Sue Eichmiller

     Carolyn Sue Eichmiller, 75, of Watertown, Ohio, died on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 24, 1949 in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of Theodore and Zela Hall Riggs. She attended Warren High School and was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed watching animals at her home, including, squirrels, chipmunks and humming birds. Carolyn enjoyed all the music from the 1960’s and she loved her dog Spud very much. She also loved her dogs, Skippy, Ann, Copper and Lilly who are deceased. On August 22, 1967 she was married to James H. Eichmiller and they enjoyed 57 years of marriage. She is survived by her husband, Jim; a son, Joseph Edward Eichmiller of Belpre; a grandson, Joshua Eichmiller of the home; a sister, Betty and a brother, Herbie of Zanesville; and a sister in-law,  Kathleen Eichmiller of Beverly. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter in-law, Pam Eichmiller; brothers, Larry and Bruce; and sisters, Bonnie, Doris and Allie.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with burial in the Waterford Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home and online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
