Carol M. Stollar

     Carol M. Stollar, 77, loving mother and wife, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 23, 1947 in Spencer, West Virginia, daughter of Ernest and Massie Blosser Henthorne. Carol graduated from Caldwell High School in 1966 and had been an STNA at Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beverly for many years and retired as their activity director. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Waterford. She was married on November 12, 1999 to Gene A. Stollar who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Cram and husband Jay and Anne Gilliland and husband Jerry; two stepsons, Doug Stollar and wife Diane and David Stollar and wife Amy; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren; a sister, Lorretta Gessel; and a brother, Coy Henthorne. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Larry Henthorne.

     There will be a memorial service for Carol on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Church of the Nazarene in Waterford at 12:00 noon with Pastor Garrett Russell officiating.  Friends may call 10:00 am until 12:00 noon on Saturday.  McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly handled the arrangement and online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
