Carl E. Mullen, 71, of Stockport, Ohio, died on Friday, August 14, 2020 at his home. He was born October 8, 1948 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Orin and Dorothy Keys Mullen. He graduated from M&M High School in McConnelsville, Ohio in 1966 and had worked for The Ohio Department of Transportation for many years. While in high school he was an accomplished baseball player and later played for local American Legion baseball teams. He served in the US Army from 1969 until 1972 and was stationed at Fort Hood Texas. He also served in Vietnam as a Supply Technician. Carl had also been a former member of the VFW for many years.
He was married on June 4, 1976 to Darlene A. Dille Mullen who died on July 19, 2018. He is survived by a daughter, Miranda Matthews and husband Seth of Whipple Ohio and a son, David Craig Mullen and wife Heather of Milton, Florida; two grandsons, Wade Mullen and Gage Matthews. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; an infant son, Dane Alexander and two brothers, Herman and Paul Mullen. There will be no services.
