Bradley W. Hansel, 59, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 28, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio, son of Robert W. Hansel and Beverly Lynn Andis. He graduated from Lancaster High School and had been a car salesman for several car dealerships for many years. Brad attended the Fifth St. Church of Christ in Beverly, Ohio and was president and longtime member of the Sercoma Club. He was an avid Ohio State fan. He also loved the Raiders and named his beloved pet dog after his favorite team. He also enjoyed water skiing, boating and spending time with his friend and family. Brad loved life and never met a stranger. On August 3, 2019 he was married to Verna S. Barrell Hansel who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Kelsee Hansel; his mother, Beverly Andis; his father, Robert Hansel; a sister, Kimberly Hansel; three step children, Amy Kline (Lucas), Brandon Metzler (Jenica) and Brian Metzler (Brittany); fifteen grandchildren; three nieces, Jennifer Yingling, Page Hinton and Harley Hinton and a nephew, Braylon Hinton.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 2-4 pm at the Fifth Street Church of Christ in Beverly. A funeral will follow at 4:00 pm with Evang. Zack Waite officiating.
