Bob Leget

A Ceremony in remembrance of Bob Leget will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, in his hometown of Waterford, Ohio. Friends and family will gather at 1:00 PM at the Waterford Methodist Church, 370 Main Street (next to Waterford High School) The memorial service will include bagpipe music, a devotional message, and a Masonic Ceremony led by members of the Mt. Moriah Lodge. Immediately following the service, all guests are invited to gather at Riverbend Restaurant at 415 5th Street (opposite Fort Frye High School) in Beverly for a buffet luncheon and time to visit, to enjoy the picture displays, and to share funny stories and memories about Bob. We look forward to seeing many dear friends and celebrating Bob’s youth on the family farm, his time at Marietta College, and his remarkable career in science education which began with his first four years of teaching at his alma mater, Waterford High School. In abiding with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and his urn will be interred in the old section of the Waterford Cemetery, which overlooks the Leget Farm.
