Betty Jean Miller

Betty Jean Miller, 83, of Beverly, Ohio died Monday, December 16, 2019 at Tuscany Gardens Nursing Facility in Pataskala, Ohio. She was born in Smithfield, Ohio on June 22, 1936 to Steve and Ruth Matthews Lecik. Betty graduated from Beverly High School in 1954. After graduation she went on to Cosmetology school in Columbus, Ohio. She married Ronald Lee Miller on July 9, 1955. She was baptized into Christ at age 24 and served Him faithfully for 59 years as a member of the Fifth Street Church of Christ. She is survived by their four children, Darla Ash of Lebanon, Ohio, Robin (Steve) Rauch of Pickerington, Ohio, Scott (Vickie) Miller of Beverly, Ohio, and Jamie (Anissa) Miller of Waterford, Ohio; 13 Grandchildren, Joel, Jessica, Abigail, Mary, Anna, Andrew, Kyle, Megan, Nina, Carissa, Brianne, Kenzie, and Travis; 32 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great- Great Granddaughter; 3 Brothers, Harry (Joan) Lecik of Forest, Va., Michael Lecik of Powatan Va., and Rodney (Peg) of Lecik of Smithfield Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Ronald who died on January 8, 2013. Funeral services will be held at McCurdy Funeral Home on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 10:00 am with Pastor Rob Tuttle officiating. Burial will be in Waterford Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
