Bentley W. Ullman

     Bentley W. Ullman, 62, of Marietta, Ohio, died on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Heartland of Marietta under comfort care after multiple strokes. He was born on February 13, 1960 in Marietta, son of Ralph W. Ullman and Kay Silvus Geddes. He graduated from Fort Frye High School and Vocational School in 1979 where he learned the masonry trade and was a brick layer for many years in Ohio and many other states. He is survived by his mother, Kay Geddes of Beverly; a step brother, Doug Geddes (Karen) of Hallieford, Virginia; two step sisters, Susan Geddes (Pam) of Cartersville, Georgia and Michele Tolle (Tim) of Marietta; a half- sister, Tonia Ullman and many aunts, uncles and other family members. He was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, Robert Geddes, grandparents, Paul and Elva Ullman and Parley “Pete” and Lavada Silvus.

     According to his wishes he will be cremated and a private family service will be held at the convenience of the family in Smith Chapel Cemetery. McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
