Barbara J. Combs

     Barbara J. Combs, 83, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Elison Assisted living in Marietta. She was born on August 17, 1940 in Glenn County, Georgia, daughter of Frederick and Clara V. Macbee Sparre. She had been a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family. She was married on June 12, 1976 to Robert C. Combs who died on November 7, 2014. She is survived by two children, Christie Farnsworth (Jason) of Marietta and Charles Hathaway of Hitchcock, Texas; four grandchildren; two stepsons, Rob Combs (Chris) of Beverly and Brian Combs (Dawn) of Beverly; two stepdaughters, Sherry Nolan (Rick) of Beverly and Angie Curry (Alex) of Watertown. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister; two brothers and a stepson, Joe Combs.
