Alice M. Sherbourne, 82 of Caldwell, formerly of Beverly, Ohio, died on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell, Ohio. She was born on July 15, 1942 in Brownsville, Ohio, daughter of Gerald and Christine Mary Knapp Mock. Alice graduated from M&M High School and worked several manufacturing jobs including Essex Wire in Zanesville, Malta Manufacturing in Malta and Phoinex Rubber in Beverly. She later worked as a care giver to many people in the area. She was a Methodist by faith and a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 389 in Beverly. On August 4, 1969 Alice was married to Arthur Dean Sherbourne who died on August 10, 2000. She is survived by a daughter, Kim Anderson (Van) of Waterford and a son, J.D. Harrison of Temple, Texas; a brother, Bill Mock of Florida; and two sisters, Louise Hambel (Jerry) of Lancaster and Brenda Miller (Jake) of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Regina Sue; three brothers, Charles Mock, Albert Mock and Roger Mock; and a sister, Joan Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Pastor Willie Hood officiating. Entombment will be at East Lawn Memorial Park in Marietta.
