Alice Eubank Obituary

          Alice Louise (Slivka) Eubank of McConnelsville, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Belpre Medical Campus Emergency Department. She was born on January 26, 1934 in Morgan County, daughter of Stephen and Anna Mitchell Slivka. The youngest of 9 children, she grew up on the family farm. She married Maurice E. Eubank and was a faithful and devoted wife, homemaker and farmed with her husband until his passing in 1983. She loved farming and continued running the farm with her son David. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and her faith meant everything to her. She lived for God and was known for her humility, meekness and kindness. She was loved and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Alice is survived by her children, Connie (Ancil) King of McConnelsville, David (Ginger) Eubank of McConnelsville and Teresa Hecker of Athens; grandchildren, Bryon King of McConnelsville, Rebekah (Brian) Burns of St. Albans, WV., Matt (Melissa) King of  Duncan Falls, Lisa Huck of San Antonio, Texas, Josh (Krissy) Mayes of Beavercreek, Jessie Hecker (Don Kocian) of Cleveland, Shaun Hecker (Mia Davis) of Athens, Richelle (Bruno) Jose of Athens, Ashley (Jason) Boudreaux of Spring Texas;  Great Grandchildren, are Reed-Carpenter Mayes, Myles and Kara Mayes of Beavercreek, Sophia Boudreaux of Spring, Texas, Autumn Burns (Ben Heading) of Charleston, Justin Burns (Erica Larijani) of Morgantown, WV, Matthew King II (Ashley Jade) of Mt Vernon and Isaac King of Duncan Falls; One sister, Hope Massey of Malta. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter, Linda Huck and son in-law Bernie Huck. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, April 12, 2021 at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Father Tim Kozak officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to St. James or St. Bernard Catholic Church. McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly is in charge of arrangements.
