Paul L. Wagner

Paul L. Wagner, 76 of Beverly, Ohio, died on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 8, 1942 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Walter Ronald and Emma Beryl Criss Wagner. Paul graduated from Fort Frye High School in 1960 and served in the US Army. He retired from Ohio Power Muskingum River Plant after 30 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post #389 in Beverly and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was married on May 18, 1968 to Linda Silvus Wagner who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Melissa Wagner Percic and husband Richard of Lisbon, Ohio; two brothers, Ronald Wagner and wife Judith of Marietta and Bruce Wagner and wife Julia of Vincent; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the Smith Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Darla Schnegg officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Legion Post #389 or the Strecker Cancer Center. The family would like to thank Dr. Kelli Cawley and Dr. Devaki Siva, the Strecker Cancer Center, Marietta Memorial Hospital and the Amedysis Hospice and team for everything they did for Paul.
