After graduation she went on to Cosmetology school in Columbus, Ohio. She met her future husband, Donal D. Hart on a blind date arranged by his sister while he was home on Leave from the U.S. Marine Marine Corps. They were married on December 20, 1958. She was a past member of the Beverly UMC where she attended as a child. Marilyn was a woman of God who with husband Don, selflessly supported many charities throughout her life, as well as lending a helping hand to those in need around her.
She is survived by their two children, Duane (Carolyn) of Newark, Ohio, and Donita of Grove City, Ohio, and 4 Grandchildren: Bradley, Matthew (Melinda), Ryan, and Alyssa. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Larry.
