M. Bambi Lockhart

M. Bambi Lockhart, 74, of Waterford, Ohio, went to join family and friends on October 19, 2017. She was born April 10, 1943 in Chicago Illinois, daughter of Everett and Maxine Roberts. She was a loving mother, homemaker, dispatcher for the Village of Beverly, a bus driver and softball and cheer coach for Wolf Creek. She owned and operated Main Street Station and was Timekeeper for Legge and Associates She graduated from M&M High School in 1961 in McConnelsville, Ohio. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary and supported the Waterford School District in every way, especially “THE” Waterford Wildcat Football program and was better known as Gridiron Granny. On January 31, 1970 she married James B. Lockhart who survives. Also surviving are daughters Lise (Bruce) Burns of Watertown, Jami Biedel of Waterford and Layne (Rod) Place of Cypress TX; Grandchildren Tyler and Riley Burns, Jake Biedel, Jessica Skinner, Maddison and Catera Place, Cory Parker and Chris West; great grandchildren, Collin and Sydnee Morris, and Morgan McFarland;  Two sisters, Marcie Dupre and Martha Ray; one brother, Charlie (Janet) Eddleblute; and a daughter in- law, Jodie Skinner and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by, her parents; in- laws, Hester and Rega Lockhart; a son James Gregory Skinner; a daughter, Laura Lou Lockhart; her granddaughter, Tawni Lynette Morris; son in-law, John Biedel; and dear friends, Pamela Smith Jackson and Sharon Lockhart.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Evang. Zack Waite officiating. Burial will be in the Waterford Cemetery.
