Juanita Wilcoxen Obituary

     Juanita J. “Poke” Wilcoxen, 67, of Lowell, Ohio, died on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at her home. She was born on October 7, 1952 in Coal Run, Ohio, daughter of Clinton J. and Glenna Jean Stewart Misel. Poke graduated from Fort Frye High School and was a member of the Laborers Union Local 639 at Marietta. She is survived by a son, Sam Wilcoxen (Sara); a daughter, Dawn Misel (Mark); six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Misel (Debbie) and Joe Misel (Alice); two sisters, Frances Hupp and Jeanette de Chantal; a sister in law, Debbie Misel; former husband, Sam Wilcoxen (Janet) and their daughter, Jessica Wilcoxen. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jack Misel.

     Poke will be buried in Watson Cemetery in Morgan County. The family would like to thank Amedysis Home Health and Hospice for their wonderful care during her illness and donations may be made to Amedysis Hospice, 27855 St. Rt. 7, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
