Josef Kutscherenko Obituary

     Josef Kutscherenko, 68, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. He was born on May 7, 1951 in Amberg, Germany, son of Ivan and Ilona E. Kersco Kutscherenko. He graduated from Morgan High School in 1970 and had been a mechanic at Central Ohio Coal Company for many years retiring in 1999. He had been a member of the Beverly-Waterford Jaycees and a member of the United Mine Workers Union. Joe enjoyed his family and watching his sons and grandsons and he especially enjoyed watching his family and grandsons participate in tractor pulling competitions. He was married on November 20, 1971 to Karen Huck Kutscherenko who survives. He is also survived by five children, Troy Kutscherenko and wife Tabitha of McConnelsville, Tara Kutscherenko of Waveland, Mississippi, Meredith Kutscherenko of Zanesville, Andy Kutscherenko of McConnelsville and Courtney Kutscherenko of Independence, Louisiana; seven grandchildren, Juwan Hollins, Cody Townsend, Tiara, Amari, Brady, Wyatt and Luke Kutscherenko; one great grandson, Carter Kutscherenko; two brothers, John and Robert Kutscherenko and two sisters, Ila Wright and husband Ray and Susan Kutscherenko all of McConnelsville; several nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters in-law.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Frank Kutscherenko; brother in-law, James Huck; nephew, Shane Huck and a great nephew, Emmett Wright.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 28, 2019 at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Father Tim Kozak officiating. Burial will be in St Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call 2:30 pm until 8:30 pm on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the St. Bernard Social Hall in Beverly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Karen Kutscherenko for the purpose of building an announcers tower at the Morgan County Fairgrounds in memory of Joe.
