Earl J. Arnold

Earl J. Arnold, 81, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Friday, February 16, 2018 at his home. He was born on February 16, 1937 in Waterford, Ohio, son of Albert J. and Eleanor Bauerbach Arnold. He had been a farmer for many years and was retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation after several years of service. He graduated from Waterford High School in 1955 and served in the US Army and was stationed in Korea. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church at Churchtown and the Knights of Columbus.

Earl is survived by two brothers, Charles Arnold and wife Sarah of Columbus and Leo Arnold of Waterford; three sisters, Helen Cruise of Dayton, Ohio, Edith Woeste of Centerville, Ohio and Judy Keane of West Carrollton, Ohio; Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Howard Arnold, Cecil Arnold and Joseph Arnold; and two sisters, Clara Bradley and Marjorie Schott.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Church with Father Tim Davison officiating. Burial will be in the St. Johns Cemetery with military services at the grave. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly where a rosary service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
