Deborah (Debbie) Lynn McCutcheon, 64 of Waterford, Ohio was welcomed into her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 . Debbie was born on February 8, 1955 in Marietta, Ohio daughter of the late Carl and Betty Bone Darnell of Devola. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1973. She worked for Moores’s Lumber and later for AEP Muskingum River Plant from which she retired in 2012. She attended the Church of the Nazarene in Waterford where she was baptized. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 389 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary in Beverly. Debbie raised golden retrievers and loved riding her horse on trail rides. She leaves behind her riding friends of which there are many. She will be remembered for her wonderful smile and the fact that she never missed the opportunity to make a new friend. She seemed to know everybody and everyone knew her.
On August 3, 2001 she married Douglas McCutcheon. She loved the farm life and living in Waterford. She is survived by her husband Doug; Also surviving are five children, David (Roxanne) Cline of Belpre, Jeff (Jessica) Cline of Marietta, Jason (LeAnn) Cline of Waterford, Dustin (Ashley) Cline of Waterford and Jennifer Cline Heiss (Lee) of Waterford; Twenty one grandchildren, Brandon, Wyatt, Nathaniel and Cheyanne Cline, Gage Wolfert, Lacey, Christopher, Kailee, Lane, Sydnee, Briceson, Tyler and Emma Cline, Levi, Alana, Trevor, Lee Jr., Larissa, Lakyn, Taylor and Brooklynn Heiss; and two great grandchildren, Ella and Ayla. Debbie will be especially missed by her surviving sisters, Beverly Hess (Jerry) of Urbana, Ohio and Linda Thrasher of Broken Arrow, Ok.; her dog, Katie; also surviving are her mother and father in-law, Larry and Carolyn McCutcheon and the extended McCutcheon family. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant grandchild, Cline; nephew, Kerry Thrasher and brother in-law, Kelsey Thrasher.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 23, 2019 at the Nazarene Church in Waterford with Pastor Doug Downs and Pastor Karl Kesselring officiating. Burial will be in the Waterford Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly.
