Arthur Andrew Tracey

Arthur Andrew Tracey, 85, of Beverly, Ohio, died Friday, January 4, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born March 6, 1933 in Dresden, Ohio, son of James Franklin and Mary Barns Tracey. He had been an electrician most of his life and had a life- long love for flying and farming.  He graduated from Zanesville High School in 1952. Art was a member of the Fifth St. Church of Christ, Clemente Amitie Lodge #285 in Reinersville, Webb Lodge #252 in Stockport, Valley Lodge of Cambridge, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Rufus Putnam #108 and the Royal Arch Masons of Ohio. He was first married June 28, 1952 to Bonna Sue Morrison Tracey who died March 10, 2000. He was later married on December 8, 2001 to Helen Edgell Snyder Tracey who survives. He is also survived by two children, five step children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Jeff and Lisa Tracey, two grandchildren Andrew “Rusty” Tracey and wife Llana and their daughter Astrid Tracey and Brian Tracey; Mrs. Tanja Tracey Cottrell ( Dr. David S. Cottrell Sr); seven grandchildren, Lisa Cottrell Clingempeel and Chris and their children, Christian, Aubrey, and Zackary; Sara Cottrell Miller (Brandon) and their children, Aliya, Camren, Amya, and Ayla; William Arthur Cottrell, 2LT David S. Cottrell Jr. (Amber), Gregory Cottrell, Hanna Cottrell, and Olivia Cottrell; 5 step children, Karen (Thomas) Newsom, grandchildren, Richard (Alea) and their kids, Joshua, Makenzie, Addie, Alexa, and Grace;  Robert and his kids, Isabella and Taryn; Rachel (Mat) Page and their kids, Amelia and Clara; Richard (Cindy) Snyder Jr. and grandchildren, Jeremy (Sara Ann) Snyder and their kids, Emily, Quinn, Grant, Miley, and Hayli; Sarah (Jeff) Baker, and their child Ellah; Amanda (Cory) Palmer and their kids Wiley and McCoy;  Michael (Rose) Snyder, grandchildren Seth and Caleb and their kids, Brynn, and Cole; Jason (Lynette) Snyder, grandchildren, Issac Snyder and Jacob (Amanda Snyder) and their kids Parker and Henry; Moriah (Christian) Hudspeth and their child Emery.  Kimberly (Greg) Dusky and grandchildren, Valerie (Ryan) McGrew and their kids, Caidynce and Berklee; and Gabriel and Joseph.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Bonna Sue Morrison Tracey; parents; five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Fifth Street Church of Christ in Beverly with Evangelist Zack Waite officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Glouster, Ohio. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly where a Masonic Service will be held at 8:00 pm.
