James Michael Pennock

James Michael Pennock, 61, of Brandon, FL (formerly of Beverly, OH) went home to be with his Lord on November 28, following a year long battle with cancer. Mike was predeceased by his parents Dean Pennock and Eleanor Barnes Pennock and his nephew Deric Miller. As a skilled equipment operator, he worked in the construction of golf courses, as a young man, and later as an independent contractor with his own company Pennock Golf. Mike is survived by his sisters, Kristi Pennock Miller (Larry) of Dade City, FL, Kathy Pennock Miller of Brandon, FL and Brenda Pennock of Wesley Chapel, FL. He is also survived by 3 nieces, one nephew, 6 great nieces and 4 great nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 4th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. and a funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 5th at 11:00 a.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly, Ohio with burial following in Smith’s Chapel Cemetery.
