Freda M. Stollar Colosi

Freda M. Stollar Colosi, 98 of Watertown, Ohio, died Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville, Ohio. She was born August 31, 1918 in Harrisville, WV, daughter of Amos and Hattie Emory Elder. She had worked at B.F. Goodrich in Marietta and retired from the Airolite Company in Marietta. She was a member of the Watertown United Methodist Church. Freda loved to crochet and enjoyed making wedding cakes. She especially loved spending time with her family and great grandchildren. She was first married to Daniel Stollar who died in 1957. She later was married on August 10, 1972 to Russel J. Colosi who died December 18, 1991. She is survived by a son, Gene Stollar and wife Carol of Waterford; five grandchildren, Darren Stollar and wife Vanessa of Waterford, Danielle Porter and husband Allen of Watertown, Dawn Lemasters and husband Robert of Waterford, Douglas Stollar of Bartlett and David Stollar and wife Amy of Columbus; eight great grandchildren, Matt Stollar, Christopher Stollar, Steven Stollar, Levi Porter, Wyatt Porter, Regan Porter, Garrett Lemasters and Luke Stollar; a sister, Icy Elder of Williamstown, WV. She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; a son, Daniel Stollar; daughter in law, Veldene Burchett Stollar; four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Evang. Zack Waite officiating. Burial will be in Watertown Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm on Monday and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
