Delmar L. "Pete" Hutchins

Delmar L. Hutchins Jr. “Pete”, 61, of Beverly, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Pete was born September 2, 1955 in Marietta, Ohio and raised in Beverly. He was a graduate of Fort Frye High School, class of 1973 and Columbus College of Art, class of 1977. He lived many years in Atlanta, Georgia working as a graphic artist in advertising design. He was a resident of Beverly for the last eight years working in freelance advertising design and an award winning artist with oil painting and watercolor. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion. Pete was preceded in death by his mother, D. Elease McKim. He is survived by his father, Delmar L. Hutchins Sr.; brother, Kerby Hutchins (Mary); sisters, Georgia Manley (Charles) of Griffin Georgia and Carma Matheny (Francis) of Beverly; and eight nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 8:00 pm on Monday, March 20, 2017 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Evang. Zack Waite officiating. Friends may call 6-8 pm on Monday before the service.
